Mission: To increase the leadership and participation of Asian Pacific Americans APA in the philanthropic sector; to connect philanthropy with APA and other immigrant and refugee communities; and to increase resources to these underserved populations. Its members include the staff and trustees of grantmaking institutions, and nonprofit service and advocacy organizations serving APA communities. The campaign has already completed a national book tour for Asian American Women: Issues, Concerns, and Responsive Human and Civil Rights Advocacy , and is planning to make capacity-building grants to key organizations advocating on behalf of APA women; conduct an education and awareness-raising campaign about APA women's issues; and lay the groundwork for a collaborative fund to seed the initiative's social-justice agenda.
